I am a professor in the Department of Statistics at UFPE, working on inference, spatial models, and remote sensing.
Assistant Professor of Statistics
My research covers models for spatial data and time series, parametric inference, and statistical methods for SAR and PolSAR imagery. I am also interested in generalized estimating equations, asymptotic theory, and information geometry.
I earned my B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Statistics at UFPE and was a visiting Ph.D. researcher at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. My projects combine methodological development, simulation, and data analysis.
